Marilee
Bridges-Hazen, Esq., Partner
Marilee Bridges
Hazen graduated from Southwestern University through an
accelerated two year program. Her legal career began with
the San Bernardino County District Attorney. While in law
school she interned at Thrifty Corporation and Orange County
District Attorney. In 1984 she joined Gray & Prouty in the
civil department in Santa Ana. After the birth of her
first child, she transferred to the workers'
compensation department. Marilee then began working in the
Redding office in 1987 until she became the managing attorney of
the Sacramento office. For over 25 years, Marilee has
defended employers, insurance carriers, and third party
adjusting agencies in all aspects of Workers'
Compensation litigation, including representing employers on
Serious & Wilful and Labor Code Section 132(a) claims.
Marilee is a member of NAMSAP as she has undergone training in
MSA issues and has experience submitting MSAs to CMS. In
addition to providing training in workers'
compensation issues, Marilee relishes research and developing
legal arguments. Marilee especially enjoys traveling and
spending time with her family. She has four daughters (1
is a college graduate, 1 is attending college, and twins who are
preparing for college).
